With the help of your counsellor you can work to identify the parts of yourself and the aspects of your history that might be holding you back in your personal growth. This will allow you to develop a better understanding of who you are as an individual and in relation to others. With this knowledge you can find a balance between accepting those parts of yourself that cannot be changed and finding the strength to work on those that can.
